Alphataraxia is an energy-focused quantitative investment management group with offices outside of Washington, DC and in Downtown Los Angeles, CA.
With decades of experience, our professionals focus on data-centric investment strategies in today's energy markets. We focus on understanding and predicting outcomes on electricity grids, where our positions can have a significant impact on real-world outcomes: helping to stabilize energy prices and encourage the adoption of renewable power sources.
We operate with a start-up model, using small teams and few layers of management to rapidly identify, understand, and capitalize on opportunities where rigorous quantitative analysis can provide an edge.

Though we have professionals housed in two offices, major decisions are made at a firm-level. Our teams are delineated functionally, often across offices.
